Construction Of Another New Lithium Plant Begins

    On October 20, the groundbreaking ceremony of 50GWh LiFePO4 cylindrical core industrial park project was held in Xintai, Tai'an, Shandong Province. 50Gwh LiFePO4 cylindrical core industrial park project is invested and constructed by Aerospace Lithium Technology (Jiangsu) Co. The project takes core as the core, covering cathode materials, anode materials, diaphragm materials, electrolyte materials and other supporting industries to build a 100 billion output value of lithium battery production base. The first phase of the project covers an area of 502.68 mu, with a planned investment of 3 billion yuan, the construction of 5GWh lithium iron phosphate core production line, a planned construction area of about 250,000 square meters, 10 new production lines, the main products are independently developed 38910 and 46800 new power battery. After the project is completed and reaches production, the annual output value is expected to be about 5 billion yuan and 150 million yuan respectively, driving employment of 2,000 people.

    Aisino Lithium is the lithium battery business platform of China Aerospace Science and Technology Group, a professional technology and production capacity platform for cylindrical lithium iron phosphate battery cells. The company's headquarters is located in Gaoyou City, Jiangsu Province, and the main production base is located in Gaoyou Economic Development Zone, with a total planning area of 3,000 mu. It is planned to achieve a production capacity of 50 GWh by 2024 and become a larger production base for cylindrical lithium iron phosphate standard cells.

It is understood that the aerospace lithium independently developed 46800, 38121, 38910 core cells, using the standard Tesla's automotive grade large cylindrical core technology, the company set up "Battery Research Institute", "Chassis Research Institute", "System Research Institute" three major research institutes. "System Research Institute" three research institutes, focusing on "lithium iron phosphate" technology line, focusing on "commercial vehicle electrification, ship electrification, agricultural machinery electrification, micro-grid energy storage, high-end lead-acid replacement "five core application areas.

    In September 2022, Aisino Lithium also signed a 50GWh lithium battery and material integration industrial base project with the management committee of Xinqiao International Industrial Park in Shou County, Huainan, Anhui Province. The main products of the project are cores, covering cathode materials, anode materials, diaphragm materials, electrolyte materials and other upstream supporting materials industries. The total investment of the project is more than RMB 26 billion, of which the total investment of the first phase of the project is about RMB 2.6 billion, and the project is planned to achieve a main business income of not less than RMB 2.4 billion/year after reaching production.

According to the plan of Aisino Lithium, in the next three years, the company will take Yangzhou Gaoyou as its headquarters, build 6 industrial clusters in China, realize the comprehensive layout in East China, South China, West China, North China and Central China, and achieve a total capacity of 300GWh.
